WAKEFIELD, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Customer experience (CX) professionals worldwide are invited to celebrate the very first CX Day on October 1 at local gatherings and online events. “We hope that everyone in the CX field will find a way to join the party on CX Day, to applaud our progress and to share inspiration for the future. And, of course, to enjoy themselves!”

CX Day celebrates the rising importance of customer experience to companies, by highlighting the efforts of all customer experience professionals to raise the bar for achievement and innovation in the CX field. There are already CX Day in-person meetings scheduled in 20 cities across five countries: Canada, Finland, Norway, the UK and the U.S. These events will include speakers, breakout discussions, networking, food and more. There is no charge to attend a CX Day meeting, but advance registration is required.

Additionally, CX professionals can join in a series of online events throughout the day, including four Google+ Hangouts across global time zones and a Twitter Chat led by Ingrid Lindberg, Chief Experience Officer of Prime Therapeutics. Many companies are also planning to host their own in-house CX Day celebrations.
