McDonald’s Launches McD App for Smartphones Throughout Northern Nevada Area

RENO, Nev.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--McDonald’s customers throughout the Northern Nevada, Lake Tahoe and Truckee area now have a new way to enjoy food and beverage deals with the launch of the brand new McD App for iOS and Android devices.

Starting today, McDonald’s invites customers to download the free McD App and enjoy a variety of offers and coupons for their favorite McDonald’s menu items.

McD App utilizes location-based services to provide consumers with deals and offers accessible direct from their mobile device and has the ability to tailor future offers and deals based on a user’s preferences and purchasing behaviors. New deals will auto-refresh based on redemption to deliver a consistent variety of value offers.

In addition to local offers, the McD App’s geo-targeting capability will notify customers of upcoming events and offers happening at a specific McDonald’s restaurant near their current location.

The McD App is available for download in the App Store for Apple devices and in the Google Play marketplace for Android devices. Customers can also download the app by scanning the QR code on merchandising posted in McDonald’s restaurants.

Customers who download the McD App to their smartphone will immediately receive an offer for a free Regular Menu Sandwich with any purchase.
