LONDON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Citizen, a strategic management consultancy based in Nottinghamshire, has brought together a group of some of the UK’s most talented marketing agencies and professional service companies to support the city’s Creative Quarter with a competition designed to give away £130,000 of free advice and support to small businesses at the hub.
The Citizen team, made up of Chris Searson, Tim Warsop and Holly Searson, have 60 years of combined experience in mentoring and business management. The team have secured a range of free services for the winners, from business mentoring to professional branding advice. The services come from companies who work with major global brands such as American Airlines and Hilton Hotels.
Citizen is delighted to be working with the Creative Quarter, Chris explained: “I’m proud to come from Nottingham so I was really excited when I heard the Creative Quarter was being rejuvenated. The city has an incredible history of commercial excellence, which too few people in the rest of the UK are aware of.
“We are therefore keen to support the initiative by bringing some of the best talent that the UK has to offer to support businesses in Nottingham. All the companies involved have experience with major brands and have national or even international reputations for excellence. Most also have strong links with the East Midlands or are based here, but all, like me, have had to compete with the London agencies.”
Creative Quarter CEO, Kathy McArdle, added: “We’re delighted that Citizen and the other companies have committed to giving so much resource and time to helping SMES and small businesses in the Creative Quarter. These companies have invaluable expertise and experience and what they’re offering will provide some great support to CQ businesses in lots of different areas.”
The group of companies who will be offering support is made up of: Citizen, Smart Cookie, MBC Group, Anicca Digital, Smart Measures, Geldards LLP.
Companies within the geographical boundary of the Creative Quarter or working in the digital sector should visit www.creativequarter.com for further details and to enter the competition.
