CARMEL, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Richard Todd’s new techno-thriller, “Time Tunnel: The Towers,” was released today on Amazon and Ingram. “Time Tunnel: The Towers” is a daring suspense story that reimagines 9/11 through time travel.

Described as "An action-packed time-travel tale..." by Kirkus Reviews, “Time Tunnel: The Towers” weaves in actual history and science to translate fantastic concepts like time travel into startling reality. Watch the book trailer here: http://www.timetunnelthetowers.com/book-trailer/

The story begins on September 10, 2001 in New York City. Kyle Mason, an Army Special Forces Major, is honeymooning in SoHo with his newly wed bride. When his wife ducks out of their hotel room for coffee and a cigarette, Kyle is shocked when a strange visitor appears, enlisting Kyle’s help to prevent an unimaginable disaster that will take his bride’s life in the twin towers the following morning.

“The story of how ‘Time Tunnel: The Towers’ happened is as intriguing as the book itself,” said author Richard Todd, “Like many Americans, I wanted to rewrite 9/11.”

“’Time Tunnel: The Towers’ is a thrilling read,” said Southern California Public Radio’s Stephanie O’Neill, “It instantly reminded me of some of Michael Crichton’s best, like ‘Andromeda Strain.’”

“Time Tunnel: The Towers” is the first in its series of time travel techno-thrillers.
