"With a massive 100-inch class screen and FULL HD picture quality, our Laser TV is perfect for sports and large viewing parties," said Kyle Kiang, director of home entertainment brand marketing, LG Electronics USA. "In the spirit of the festival we wanted to offer attendees a cinematic way to enjoy the games on Sunday."

In addition to the playoff excitement on Sunday, the LG Music Lodge will host performances throughout the Festival by various artists who will use LG's 100-inch class Laser TV as a backdrop display for music videos to the exclusive crowd. In its 10 years at Sundance, the Music Lodge has become an outlet for celebrities and music fans to hang out by the fireplace or step onto the stage for an impromptu performance. Expected celebrity guests include Kate Hudson, Zach Braff, Aubrey Plaza, Jesse Eisenberg, Anna Kendrick, Rooney Mara, Shailene Woodley, Lance Bass, Molly Shannon, John C. Reilly, amongst others.

Laser TV: Full HD Picture Quality, Ideal for Home Entertainment Centers

To help create a cinematic experience at home, LG developed the Laser TV, which combines a 100-inch class screen, superb picture quality and premium features. The Laser TV boasts a Full HD 1080p resolution and 150 nit brightness, so images will pop in both light and dark environments. The six layered custom screen is configured to deflect ambient light and help produce better picture quality.

LG's Laser TV is a "short throw" projector system – with only 22 inches between the light source and the screen, it displays a crisp widescreen HDTV image more than 8 feet measured diagonally. Unlike standard ceiling-mounted projector systems, the Laser TV can be positioned near the floor or ceiling offering flexible installation options. LG also has a custom stand which positions the projector at the perfect height and distance from the screen for users looking for a simple install.

The LG Laser TV features Smart TV capabilities, giving users their choice of content options from providers like Netflix, VUDU, YouTube and more*. It also works with LG's proprietary Magic Remote that features gesture recognition and point/click capability. From a design perspective, the custom screen features LG's minimal bezel and protrudes less than an inch from the wall, making it aesthetically desirable for any home entertainment center. Lastly, LG's Laser TV features HDMI, AV, RGB and USB connections, amongst others.

The LG Laser TV is on sale now through select retailers nationwide at the suggested retail price of $8,999. For more information, please visit www.lg.com/us/tvs. For more information about the LG Music Lodge please contact sundancemedia@cw3pr.com .
