Moravia, Czech Republic is emerging as Eastern Europe's newest wine region. Despite producing 94 percent of the Czech Republic's wine, the region is still under-the-radar in the eyes of many travelers. The regional capital of Brno is in the center of the city, lined with Modernist houses. It's an ideal place for guests to begin their journey. Jeff Bartel agrees that the city is a sight to see with rolling vineyards and castle-topped towns.

After remodeling its waterfront, this once gritty seaport now attracts quite the sophisticated crowd. The cafes along the edge of the Vieux Port are complimented with ice cream and fish sandwich vendors.
