MANCHESTER, ENGLAND, September 27, 2013 /24-7PressRelease/ -- PayMatters, a Wilmslow-based tax, payroll and umbrella company service, was established in 2008 and has continued to expand every year. The company boasts a dedicated team of more than 60 individuals that provide accountancy services to over 3,000 freelance contractors. These contractors either work through the PayMatters umbrella company or they work through their own limited company. In August of 2013, this dynamic company appointed five new members to their Board of Directors. The company explains that the new appointments are central to their future plans as they strive for 200 % growth over the next 18 months.

Stewart Davis, the Group Commercial Director, who joined the company in April of this year, led the appointments. Stewart's resume shows over 20 years of experience in the recruitment services sector. He is also an Ambassador for the Institute of Recruiters, which helped PayMatters officials recognise his keen eye for the recruitment services business. Before making the transition into PayMatters, Davis has held a number of board positions and also previously been a Regional Director for the REC's Institute of Recruitment Professionals. His extensive experience helped Davis feel more confident about leading the company's ambitious new growth strategy.

The five new appointments show an interesting transition for this vibrant company. Mike Lee joined the board as the Statutory Sales Director, a position that he is more than qualified for. Lee has been active in the company since its inception and leads a strong business development team. As an individual who provides rich input with a fresh perspective, it was no surprise that he was invited to join the board. The third appointment went to Peter Langham, who also holds the record for being the company's very first employee. Before he started at PayMatters, he worked for the Diplomatic Service, which allowed him to work in various countries and gain valuable expertise.

The company appointed Jon Biddle as the Director of Payroll Services due to his experience in the recruitment and automotive sector. This appointment came about after Biddle spent the last four years providing the company with his best effort to enhance their growth strategy. The last appointment went to Simon Pearson, who is now the new Group Financial Director. Pearson previously served as the company's Financial Controller, where he displayed superior decision-making and management skills. He has been actively working with the company for the last four years and has previous experience with KPMG. KPMG is well known for their global network of professional firms that provide audit, advisory and tax services.

This new board is comprised of highly experienced professionals with a deep understanding of the market and its opportunities. Steward Davis states that the use of contract and interim workers by private and public sector organisations has grown by approximately 40% in the last two years. With statistics like these, PayMatters is extremely confident about their 200% target growth through both organic growth and acquisition.
