Me Fine Foundation merged with Striving for More, a nonprofit created in response to the lack of psychological and emotional support available in hospitals for children with cancer, earlier this year to provide a broader set of programs and reach more patients and families. With that in mind, the group set a higher fundraising goal for its annual gala which benefits critically ill children and their families. The goal was easily reached when tickets sold out for the casino-themed event three weeks prior to the gala. The full sponsor list includes:

About Me Fine Foundation, Inc.:Me Fine Foundation, Inc. is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing financial assistance to parents and caregivers sacrificing their livelihoods in order to provide their children with state-of-the-art, or even last-chance medical treatment by Duke and UNC Children's Hospitals. Me Fine Foundation is committed to ensuring families with children facing a devastating medical crisis are able to receive financial assistance to sustain the loss of income from the dramatic lifestyle changes they face during the treatment process. For more information, please call (919) 202-0086 or visit http://www.mefinefoundation.org.
About Striving for More, Inc.:Striving for More was founded by Diane Moore in 2008 after her nine-year-old daughter, Colleen, lost her battle with cancer. During her daughter's illness, Diane found that emotional support services for children with cancer are under-funded, particularly when hospitals are competing for limited resources. Striving for More programs fund quality psychosocial services, so that every child with cancer receives the critical support they need. Striving for More merged with Me Fine Foundation in August of 2013.
