(PRLEAP.COM) Newport Beach, California, December 10, 2013 – Max Alavi, Attorney at Law and Partner at Alavi & Broyles, hosted the award winners and their guests at his sponsorship table at the 16th Annual Newport Beach Fire and Lifeguard Appreciation Beach Party held at the Newport Dunes Waterfront Resort on September 19, 2013. The Commodores Club of the Newport Beach Chamber of Commerce sponsored the event recognizing the efforts and dedication of first responders of the Newport Beach Fire and Lifeguard Department. The event included live music performed by Blue Daddy, a gourmet barbecue dinner and a beach bonfire to cap off the night.

Award winners of the event included: firefighter of the year, Adam Novak; Marine safety officer of the year, Gary Conwell; and seasonal lifeguard of the year, Mark Herman. Mr. Alavi commented at the success of the event " I have worked with Firefighters and other Public Safety Employees since 1992 and I am always humbled by the sacrifice they make every day to make our lives safer and our communities and Country a better place to live. It was my honor to host the wonderful award winners at our table and I feel like it was just a small token of my appreciation for what they do. " The beach party was the perfect way to celebrate the end of summer and honor those who put their lives on the line everyday in order to make Newport Beach a safe place for all.
