

ROCK HILL, S.C.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Comporium today announced it has appointed Dan Lehman as vice president of security, monitoring and automation (SMA), which is its wholesale dealer program for the “connected home” product. The promotion is effective as of Oct. 21.
Comporium, a diversified communications company, offers a fully managed solution for SMA, powered by iControl OpenHomeTM software. The solution combines a security alarm system, communications gateway and home automation platform into one device and enables broadband service providers to deliver the next generation of home management services for the connected home.
Lehman, who has been actively involved in the sales and support of alarm products and services since he joined Comporium in 1987, continues to be responsible for all of Comporium SMA’s functional areas.
The Comporium SMA Dealer Program, which now includes more than 60 clients nationwide, offers medium to small size broadband service providers a powerful combination of industry expertise, robust platform software features and amazing technically advanced hardware and home devices that will launch them quickly into this growing business.
Comporium supports them with technical and sales know-how and its Underwriters Laboratories certified central monitoring station, which earned the Central Station Alarm Association’s Five Diamond Certification. Lehman will continue to be based out of Rock Hill, S.C., within the Charlotte (N.C.) metropolitan area. Before his recent promotion, Lehman was serving as director and general manager since 2010. His previous positions included sales consultant, sales manager and general manager.
Lehman has served on the governor appointed S.C. Department of Labor, Licensing and Regulation’s Contractors Licensing Board since 2002. He also continues to serve as a director of the South Carolina Alarm Association. He has held officer positions on both of those organizations’ boards of directors.
