CHICAGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Fitch rates Intel Corp.'s (Intel) $5 billion senior notes offering 'A+'. Intel will sell a mix of five-year, seven-year and 10-year notes in part to fund the $16.7 billion acquisition of Altera Corp. (Altera), which is expected to close by the end of 2015. Fitch currently rates Intel's long-term and short-term Issuer Default Ratings 'A+/F1'. The Rating Outlook is Stable. Pro forma for the debt issuance, Fitch rates $18.2 billion of debt.
