CHICAGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Fitch Ratings has affirmed the 'A-' rating on approximately $189.6 million of outstanding airport revenue bonds issued by the Birmingham Airport Authority, AL on behalf of the Birmingham-Shuttlesworth International Airport. The Rating Outlook remains Negative. The rating reflects the airport's established service area with a recent history of traffic contraction, rising airline costs to support prior debt-funded capital investments, manageable future infrastructure nee
