An esteemed legal professional with nearly 35 years of experience, Mr. Gallagher is appreciated for his approachable, humble, and down-to-earth nature. He brings his experience and qualities to his role with Paul Gallagher Legal, a law firm that provides services in property, commercial, employment, and family law, as well as general litigation, alternative dispute resolution, and estate planning. Mr. Gallagher oversees all day-to-day operations of his firm in addition to working closely with clients. He specializes in mediation, alternative dispute resolution, property and commercial law, and family trusts.
Mr. Gallagher pursued a profession in law because he wanted a career that was intellectually stimulating. He liked the idea of being able to stand up for people, especially those who aren't able to stand up for themselves. In 1979, he earned an LL.B. from the University of Otago. Later in his career, he earned a master's degree in marketing and business law, as well as a master's degree in alternative dispute resolution, both from Massey University. Mr. Gallagher remains current in his field as a member of the New Zealand Law Society. He is also a supporter of the New Zealand Society of Genealogists.
