During the 30-45 minute conference, Flex Academies will discuss the important, long-term benefits of productive afterschool enrichment activities and the suggested guidelines for operating a successful afterschool program. These include implementing appropriate background checks, checking for insurance certificates, and evaluating the quality of the program offerings. Additionally, Flex Academies will discuss its own tools that ensure an effective afterschool program, such as a free community survey, an online registration system, and vendor safety checks.
Presenters at the conference will be Joshua Chernikoff, Founder and CEO of Flex Academies, and Bowden Skoff, Afterschool Activities Coordinator at Pyle Middle School, the largest middle school in Montgomery County. The Pyle Panther Afterschool program is backed by the school's parents and principal, is very rich in tradition, and offers more than 20-25 programs each week. Many of these programs fill up within minutes of the registration opening.
Flex Academies is the first afterschool program management company of its kind. Putting the safety of children first, Flex Academies has mastered running a successful and enriching afterschool program. Parents, educators, and school administrators are encouraged to RSVP and register for the conference call here.
