Dan Boose Joins Pet Supplies Plus as Chief Financial Officer

LIVONIA, Mich.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Pet Supplies Plus (“PSP”) announced today that Dan Boose has been named Chief Financial Officer, effective immediately. PSP, a portfolio company of Irving Place Capital, is the third-largest pet specialty retailer in the United States.

Dan Boose is a highly qualified executive with over 25 years of finance experience and over 15 years of operating experience in the specialty retail sector. As CFO, Mr. Boose will work across the organization to position PSP to execute its growth plan with an emphasis on strong profitability and operating efficiency.

Mr. Boose joins PSP after spending 13 years at The Sports Authority, Inc., a 480-store sporting goods retailer. Mr. Boose most recently served as the Senior Vice President for Finance and Accounting and was a member of the senior leadership team. Prior to The Sports Authority, Mr. Boose held financial roles at Brinker International, Rent-A-Center, and Kraft General Foods. Mr. Boose began his career at Deloitte and is a certified public accountant. He earned a Bachelor’s degree in accounting from Kansas State University and an M.B.A. from Indiana University.
