BOSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--’47 Brand, a privately-held sports lifestyle brand based in Boston, has collaborated with the National Football League (NFL) on its recent launch of “Nice Hat” – an innovative multimedia campaign spotlighting the brand’s new collection of NFL ’47 FRANCHISE hats available on NFLShop.com, Lids.com, and Lids locations through the country. Encompassing various digital, social, retail, and mobile channels, “Nice Hat” combines an assortment of initiatives that include strategic online advertising, social media platforms and contests, national in-store branding, and mobile activations and programs.

A kick-off to an exciting football season, this highly-anticipated campaign is set to run nationally through October 9, with the new NFL ’47 FRANCHISE collection now available at retail throughout the U.S.

“As we strive to become a leader in the general lifestyle market, this all-encompassing campaign elevates ’47 Brand to a whole new playing field,” said Wayne Best, VP of Marketing for ’47 Brand. “Teaming up with the NFL on “Nice Hat” allows us to reach an audience of key consumers that will put our growing brand on the map.”

Launching earlier this month, “Nice Hat” is currently leading a three-week in-store and digital takeover, with the campaign taking center stage at Lids retail locations nationwide, as well as on partner websites, Lids.com and NFLShop.com, and other high-profile sports and lifestyle media news sites. Socially, ’47 Brand’s official Facebook page now houses daily campaign updates and provides exclusive access to its commercial promotional efforts, while ’47 Brand’s Twitter plays host to a #47NiceHatHunt scavenger hunt, with select participants winning tickets to next year’s Pro Bowl in Hawaii. “Nice Hat” is also now featured on the popular music video website, VEVO, and on various mobile programs in partnership with outlets such as MTV, ESPN, Men’s Health, Billboard, and Maxim.

“We’re excited to partner with an iconic sports organization like the National Football League on this new venture,” said Steven D’Angelo, Co-Owner of ’47 Brand. “As we further strengthen our relationship with the NFL and align with successful retailers like the NFL Shop and Lids, this national, multiplatform campaign demonstrates the tremendous strides we’ve made since 1947.”
