The Diabetes Awareness Charm Necklace is the latest addition to Inspired Silver's collection of jewelry whose goal it is to raise awareness for an important issue in today's society. As with a number of Inspired Silver's other products, a portion of the proceeds from the sale of this charm necklace will be donated.
"So many strides have been made in the last decade in the way that Diabetes is treated," said a representative with Inspired Silver. "The disease has become much more manageable, but we want to remind people that while improvement and progress is great, our goal is still to find a cure."
The necklace echoes those sentiments, as it features two charms including only the words "Hope" and "Cure," which bookend a charm displaying the Diabetes ribbon.
"We just love the way the necklace turned out," said the representative. "We feel that it sends the perfect message. We will not stop until we find a way to effectively prevent and eliminate Diabetes."
The charm necklace is made from white metal, and is crafted with a sterling overlay. The charms on the necklace are made of silver, and the necklace includes an oval link chain that measures 18 inches.
The introduction of this new Diabetes Awareness Charm Necklace further cements Inspired Silver's reputation for producing high-quality jewelry that sends an important message. The necklace is simply the latest entry in a long line of cause-oriented products.
"It feels good to produce something that is meaningful," said the representative. "I hope that we never lose sight of that. It is so important to do everything that is in our power to help others, and that should be included in business as well. Too many other businesses have lost sight of that."
