EAST LANSING, Mich.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Ioannis "John" Papapolymerou has been named chair of the Michigan State University Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE). His appointment is effective Aug. 16, 2015. Papapolymerou comes to MSU from Georgia Tech, where he was serving as the Ken Byers Professor in the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering and associate director of the Georgia Electronic Design Center (GEDC).
