SYRACUSE, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Carrols Restaurant Group, Inc. ("Carrols") (Nasdaq:TAST) today announced that on August 4, 2015 it completed the acquisition of five BURGER KING® restaurants in South Carolina. Four of the restaurants are located in Rock Hill, South Carolina and one restaurant is located in Fort Mill, South Carolina. Carrols is the largest BURGER KING® franchisee in the United States with 661 restaurants as of August 7, 2015 and has operated BURGER KING® restaurants since 1976.
