Compton Rapper AD Lands With "Comptonfornia 2"

image

Compton. The name alone breathes a linage of Hip-Hop history known across the globe. Eazy-E, Dr. Dre, Death Row CEO, Suge Knight, DJ Quick, MC Eiht, and a host of other street certified legends once stood on top of Hip-Hop as kings in a time when gang violence was at its highest peak. That was then, this is now....
When Kendrick Lamar unleashed "Good Kid, M.A.A.D City" on the world on October 22nd, 2012, Compton let it be known, that there was a hostile takeover about to happen in Hip-Hop.
Armand Douglas, now known simply as, AD, is next through the door, taking out everything in sight on his new project, "Comptonfornia 2", hosted by Tha Alumni's, Adrian Swish. This being his 5th mixtape, AD has been on pace to be the hottest new MC not just from the West Coast, but in the game today.
The step-son of renowned actress, Tasha Smith ("Why Did I Get Married"), began rapping as a bully. Deep into very serious gang activity in high school, AD, directed one diss track at Compton's other soldier in the field, YG. As history would have it, YG's response on wax became the first track he recorded, setting the path for his critically acclaimed new-age classic, "My Krazy Life".
"Comptonfornia 2" is the certification the streets are giving back to AD to let him know he is the next king. You don't get features from, Problem, Paul Wall, Glasses Malone, Dave East, Icewear Vezzo, Bad Lucc, and Tory Lanez off being just a pawn on the chessboard. You get these features when you reach a certain level and the streets tell you, its now your time.
Partnered up with the hottest upcoming producer out the west, Larry Jayy, the duo craft a story of that is relatable to a whole new generation of rap fans. The parties, the relationships, the fights, the love and the hate, AD tells it through eyes that have experienced it all.
The lead single, "Her" is a sex driven, party banger, featuring Canadian rapper | singer | producer Tory Lanez. A nod to those girls that like girls, like we do. Radio stations are about to have a hard time not getting a phone request for this Compton anthem.
At a time where the light of Hip-Hop is slowly shifting back to the dominance the West Coast once had, AD's newest project stands to show the world that Compton is where the crown now resides.
