ARCTIC CIRCLE -- Famed myth, legend, and overall home-body Al Bominable made a rare appearance recently, in an effort to call attention to the unauthorized use of his family name on certain cooler products.

"I don't get out much, or ever," said Bominable. "But somebody put my name on something that I just can't stand behind ... or on, for that matter. And I'm insulted. Very insulted."

While Bominable admits he's no Pelican, he references coolers by the same name as the only product he'd ever be likely to associate with.
