Concordia University Wisconsin’s actuarial science program is among the best programs of its kind offered in the nation.
College Values Online recently announced its top 30 schools nationwide. Concordia came in at No. 30, and was one of only three Wisconsin schools to make the list.
The ranking was based on factors including tuition, financial aid, return on investment, and exam preparation. Concordia’s record of success in preparing students for careers in a variety of areas played a significant role in the University’s ranking, said Jamie Bond, communications manager of College Values Online.
Concordia’s actuarial science program encompasses a three-part curriculum that includes a liberal arts core, a business common body-of-knowledge, and a specialization in actuarial science. Students in the program also have the opportunity to minor in finance, accounting, or mathematics, which prepares them for careers in multiple fields.
College Values Online is a company that helps students in selecting the best school for each individual situation by offering rankings of colleges and areas of study, in addition to information on career options from a value perspective.
