Poole is a retired captain from the Raleigh Police Department and spent 10 years as a patrol officer before progressing to management. After retiring from the force and working part-time, he accepted a position at the North Carolina Museum of Art, where he was responsible for the security and safety of visitors, staff and property. Poole is a Raleigh native.

Before joining SearStone, Wardenfelt spent over 12 years as facilities manager at Carroll Lutheran Village, a CCRC in Westminster, Md., with more than 700 residents. He has also served as maintenance director of a nursing home and district facilities manager for a small chain of seven nursing homes. He and his wife recently moved from Maryland to the Triangle area.

"We are very excited to have these two exceptionally experienced individuals join our team," Christopher Romick, executive director, said. "As we continue to grow, we know that they will add to the success of SearStone and will help us prepare for our grand opening."

SearStone is nearing 90 percent in pre-sales, with only 20 homes remaining. A variety of home sites and styles are still available but are moving fast.
