Travel nurses are highly skilled healthcare professionals who travel the country working in hospitals typically for thirteen weeks at a time.

Filming for the show took place in four Orange Country hospitals and throughout Southern California. Each episode showcases the meaningful and important work that nurses perform every day. Episodes also document travel nurses exploring Southern California on their days off.

The travel nursing reality show was released as part of an effort by Aya Healthcare to highlight nursing as a rewarding career and encourage more people to enter the profession. The show won the Media Award from the American Academy of Nursing.
