MIDLAND, TX, October 04, 2013 /24-7PressRelease/ -- With nearly 100,000 Twitter followers, close to a million hits on YouTube for her single "Silence", and winner of Best New Teen Artist of The Year 2013 (across all genres) and Best New Teen Country Artist of 2013 awards, 16 year old Abi Ann will be headlining the CAF Airsho on October 12, 2013 as part of her 2013 "Day Dreaming" tour. The CAF (Commemorative Air Force) Airsho is held annually at the CAF Headquarters in her hometown of Midland. The show includes Air Force re-enactments by the Texas Flying Legends, fireworks and Abi's performance at 6:15 pm.

No stranger to performing her craft, at the tender age of seven Abi began her career starring in dozens of sold out productions. Notable performances include the role of Young Cosette in a five star production of "Les Miserables," "Narnia," "Winnie The Pooh" and "A Christmas Carol" which lead to a Christmas tour and a number of holiday recordings.

As Abi inched towards her teens she became more and more certain that she would pursue a career in both music and acting. As such, for over a year, Abi Ann has graced the Indie Network Top-40 charts with two of her tracks, garnering the number one spot for several consecutive weeks. Abi Ann also realized great success with her smash Christmas hit "Santa Can You Hear Me", produced by the Grammy winning team at Baby G Music.

Her music placements in film and television are substantial considering her age. Two of her songs ("Stronger" and "Silence") were placed in the feature film "Hello Herman," and in less than five months, the video for "Silence", had reached nearly one million hits on YouTube. Abi's other television and film placements include ION's "A Star for Christmas," "Diary of an Ex-Child Star" and "My Dog's Christmas."

The culmination of film placements and her talent helped land her as an artist on JNFE's "No Bully National Tour". Abi Ann toured from New York to Florida garnering many new fans and supporters of one of her most passionate platforms; Anti-Bullying.

Splitting her time between Nashville and Hollywood for the past several years, the multi-talented rising country star has created an astonishing buzz for her music that has reached millions of fans across America, Australia and many European countries and earned her 14 award nominations and 5 awards spanning the LA Music Awards, Independent Music Network Awards and Artists in Music Awards.
