It all began with a career in the financial services sector. Zachary Zaitzeff was quite successful in that industry, but believed that there was something missing for his life. Although from time to time he had considered the possibility of leaving his career in finance behind in order to find more meaning in his life, Zachary Zaitzeff had not yet decided what he wanted to do until the terrorist attacks of September 11 2001.

Immediately following the attacks, Zachary Zaitzeff realized that his true devotion in life was to the city of New York and its citizens. This is why Zachary Zaitzeff made the decision to open a restaurant in the heart of New York City.

Zachary Zaitzeff explained his decision to members of the press:

"I really felt that the rebuilding of the New York economy was going to be caused by innovation at the hands of New Yorkers. It is for that reason that I decided to throw myself into my dream restaurant project, an upscale burger bar that will attract locals and tourists alike."

In the ten years since Zachary Zaitzeff opened his restaurant, he has experienced remarkable success. In addition to being highly rated by Zagat, Zachary Zaitzeff and his restaurant have experienced near constant praise from various publications geared at tourists and locals. Zachary Zaitzeff says that much of his restaurant success can be credited to the commitment that he and his staff have maintained towards using only the freshest and most local ingredients.

Zachary Zaitzeff explained this concept of local and organic ingredients to members of the press:

"When we first opened the restaurant, we wanted to make sure that we were using it to support all of New York business. This is why we made the decision to serve only the freshest, most local and organic ingredients. All of our beef is grass fed and local, as are all of our dairy products. We also work with local producers to ensure that all of our bread and produce are made by people who act within the New York City economy."

Zachary Zaitzeff and his business philosophy have proven to be incredibly successful over the course of the past decade and he has every indication to believe that he will continue to be successful.

Zachary Zaitzeff says that he fully intends to keep his restaurant open and operating over the decades to come and says that he is always looking for new ways to support the New York economy through new ventures.

Although Zachary Zaitzeff has not yet decided what new ventures he would like to pursue, it seems certain that he has set himself up for success in the future.
