Woman's Volunteer Organization Hosts Monthly Bunco to Benefit Local Women/Girls

    ELKO, NV, October 15, 2013 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Soroptimist International of Elko (SIE), part of an international volunteer organization for business and professional women, will be hosting monthly themed Bunco games at the Commercial Casino, Brand Room, on the first Saturday of each month from 6:00 - 8:00 pm. The cost is $25.00 per person (21 and over) at the door and proceeds will be donated to local charities. "Bunco is a fun and lively game. It's a great way to spend Saturday night; making new friends and partaking in outlandish festivities." SIE member, Debbie Barnhart, said "Get ready for live entertainment, prizes, raffles, food, plus a no-host bar and lots of surprises. Guaranteed, this will be the event Elko will be buzzing about on Monday."

The first Bunco game is a 'Carnival' theme and occurs Saturday, November 2nd. Participants are encouraged to arrive at 4:30 pm in order to take part in the carnival merriment, games, and side-show attractions; which include a Fortune Teller, a 'Kissing Booth', The Bearded Lady, The World's Strongest Man and other hilarious characters. The first 12 participants who arrive in costume will receive a commemorate gift. Proceeds will be donated to the Nevada Health Centers' Mammogvan. Participants will have the opportunity to learn about SIE and to join the organization as well.
