(PRLEAP.COM) JOINT PRESS RELEASE – MV TRANSPORTATION, INC. & CITY OF MILTON-FREEWATER, ORDALLAS (April 3, 2014) – Today, MV Transportation, Inc., announced it has been selected to operate the fixed route transit service for the City of Milton-Freewater in Oregon. The year round service connects Milton-Freewater, Oregon with Walla Walla, Washington with three round trips each weekday. Awarded by the Milton-Freewater City Council, the new contract began on April 1, 2014 and covers a base period of three years with two additional one-year renewal options. Under the terms of the contract, MV will manage the operation of the service, providing a dedicated operator team and the provision of the company's industry leading safety and training programs. The company also offers the City of Milton-Freewater access to its national purchasing programs for cost efficiency.
