NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Fitch Ratings has placed six tranches from three trusts of U.S. Federal Family Education Loan Program (FFELP) student loan ABS on Rating Watch Negative. The three trusts are SLM Student Loan Trust 2008-2, SLM Student Loan Trust 2008-5, and SLM Student Loan Trust 2008-9. Fitch also affirmed the class A-3 note issued by SLM Student Loan Trust 2008-5.
