PEMBROKE, Bermuda--(BUSINESS WIRE)--AXIS Capital Holdings Limited (“AXIS Capital”) (NYSE:AXS), a leading specialty insurer and reinsurer, today announced that it has accepted a request from PartnerRe Ltd. (“PartnerRe”) (NYSE: PRE) to terminate the amalgamation agreement with AXIS Capital.
