BOWL-A-RAMA™ kicked off the 2015 skateboard series with the “Shut Up And Create” Wellington, NZ January 30-February 1, 2015. Some of the world’s best bowl riders were there for this celebration of skate that included LOVE+GUTS art exhibit and Manual Magazine 2014 New Zealand Skater of the Year Awards party.

BOWL-A-RAMA™ had a change in format at the Wellington bowl at Waitangi Skatepark. The goal was to have a day of bowl skating, to showcase the fun side of skateboarding, all of the unique tricks, and the skaters - and fans- having a great time! “We’re looking to have fun this year. Competitions are fun but a best trick comp is even more fun. We want to start the series with a little less stress with the aim of having everyone carry their smiles all the way through. Wellington has a big reputation and we’re aiming to live up to it,” said Frontside Events Director, Chad Ford.

It was an amazing and fun event and a great way to start the legendary BOWL-A-RAMA™ series.
