Digital Fences To Stop Terror Attack

Technology is always changing. This is most evident when we look at how things used to operate. Some scientists have long predicted that soon this world will become a big computer operated community. This is already happening with new initiatives like online casino gaming and Casino aus online casino is one of them. Technology has made it possible for players to enjoy their favourite casino games from the comfort of their homes. Games are available to play from anywhere and at any time on PCs or smart mobile devices.

The UK is about to put digital fences in a bid to fight the growing threat of terror attacks. The country is planning to put digital fences around iconic buildings and bridges to stop attacks by terrorists using vehicles in the country. This amazing work is being done by the UK’s Department for Transport(DfT). The DfT is doing this by utilising internet related solutions. Their aim is to catch and fight all terrorists who are attacking pedestrians in busy areas using cars.

This year, London has been attacked three times. The attacks occurred at the Parliament in March, on London’s Bridge and Finsbury Park last month.

After such attacks, UK ministers have shown their interest in developing technologies such as geofencing. Geofencing works by employing satellites to create barriers to certain areas. It is designed in such a manner that it works well with the onboard computers to stop unauthorised vehicles from gaining entry. It actually slows them down to a walking pace.

DfT spokesperson said the use of this technology is supposed to stop all terrorists using vehicles as weapons. He also said more is expected to be done on this matter. The police, security services and DfT are still looking for more ways to fight terrorism which comes in that manner. This work is still in progress as the DfT is still investigating how else vehicle safety technologies can help in this fight. Rumours say a British firm is also looking into the technologies. The firm is using telematics or the black box device style to recover and to stop vehicles from being hijacked.
