AMP brings world’s leading disruptors to Australia for Amplify Festival



May 26. 2015. Some of the most innovative international thinkers will be in Sydney and Melbourne 1 – 5 June for AMP’s biennial Amplify Festival.

At a time when many businesses are talking about 'digital disruption', Amplify 2015 will challenge the Australian business community to  ‘Re_think Everything’. This year’s theme will explore insights into emerging trends such as behavioural science, the ageing population and crypto-currencies.

With more than 30 international speakers, the festival will encourage the Australian business community to innovate more purposefully, for today and the future.

The Amplify Festival provides a platform for the exchange of ideas with world-class speakers who will share their unique experiences and knowledge of business issues and emerging trends. “We want to share the wisdom of over 30 of the world's boldest thinkers with the Australian business community to encourage innovation and ultimately economic growth,” says Annalie Killian, Amplify Festival Founder and Director.

Stuart Candy, Foresight and Design Professor at OCAD University Situation Lab, is a pioneer of experiential futures - a unique combination of strategic foresight and design that brings future scenarios to life in order to make them more compelling, concrete and actionable today.

Larry Rosenstock, Founder of High Tech High, is the principle of a network of thirteen K-12 public charter schools in California that focus on producing graduates that will lead the next world-beating ideas in Silicon Valley.

Jon Matonis, Co-Founder - Bitcoin Foundation, is a crypto economist focused on expanding the circulation of non-political digital currencies

Ben Haines, VP Corporate Applications and Platforms at Yahoo!, leads multiple teams responsible for all of Yahoo’s internal end-user computing, systems and applications ensuring they are addressing critical business needs.
